Another good result for St. George's
After winning a friendly match against Gzira United last week, St. George's continued their positive march with a win against old rivals and Premier league side Floriana. Coach Joe Falzon is trying different setups for the squad and seems that all players are settling down in their positions. Goals were scored by Trevor Thomas and a Nigerian striker who was on trial during the game.
New signing for St. George's
Lee Grima returns with St. George's after spending last season with Qormi FC. Lee played for the Saints during season 2006-2007 in the Premier League and has showed some good performances in the midfield. We at stgeorgesfc.com would like to welcome Lee and wish him all the luck in the coming season. In the coming weeks, during a Press Conference the committee will present sponsors and the squad for next season.
League Fixtures announced
MFA released the league fixtures for BOV First Division Competition and for the BOV Knock Out Competition. The first Knock Out Competiton match is on Sunday 14th September against Senglea Athletics, while the first league match is on Sunday 9th November against rivals Senglea Athletics too.
